January 15, 2025:Consolinno Energy turns eight! Since our founding in 2017, Consolinno has established itself as a pioneer in energy optimization.
Our hearts beat for the energy transition, and with a team of around 70 colleagues, we work every day to develop innovative solutions that are not only technically state-of-the-art, but also reflect our roots and our hands-on mentality. We believe that success is only possible through mutual support and the promotion of individual strengths—and this is precisely the culture we live every day.
"Our anniversary is an occasion to look back with pride on what we have achieved and to look ahead with energy," says Klaus Nagl, our CEO and founder. "Eight years ago, we started with the vision of actively shaping the energy transition—and this mission still drives us today."
"What makes Consolinno special is that everyone here not only contributes ideas, but also plays an active role in shaping the company," adds Klaus Nagl. Klaus, an experienced physicist with a background in engineering, is the technical heart of our company. He not only brings with him extensive knowledge of sector coupling, virtual power plants, and smart grids, but also a down-to-earth perspective and a genuine passion for the energy industry.
At his side is Christian Preis, an innovative entrepreneur and serial founder who drives the strategic development of our company with his creative approach. For Christian, transparency is more than just a buzzword: "We want to shape the energy transition honestly and authentically and promote dialogue—both within our team and with our customers and partners."
Our solutions go far beyond the technical level: we understand the needs and challenges of our customers, whether they are private households, businesses, or municipalities. The energy sector is changing rapidly—demand for electric cars and heat pumps is growing, while generation is becoming increasingly decentralized. It is precisely in this area of tension that our technologies offer the right combination to optimally control consumption and generation. Christian adds: "Innovation arises where openness and creative ideas come together. I want us as a team not only to solve problems, but also to identify new paths for a sustainable future."
