EnWG § 14a: Network-oriented control made easy
With the Leaflet HEMS, we implement the requirements of Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), which regulates the grid-oriented control of controllable consumption devices. Our system enables energy consumers such as wall boxes and heat pumps to be controlled efficiently, thereby benefiting from reduced grid fees. The goal: to actively contribute to grid stability while saving costs.
Solar Peak Act: Greater efficiency for solar systems
The new Solar Peak Act brings important changes for operators of solar systems. This is because photovoltaic expansion is progressing rapidly, and with it, the pressure for controllability is also growing. Intelligent energy management with Leaflet HEMS, paired with an intelligent metering system (iMSys), maximizes self-consumption, intelligently integrates battery storage, and thus avoids generation peaks.
Local HEMS vs. Cloud HEMS: Safety first
A key highlight of the Leaflet HEMS is its local control: our hardware is professionally installed in the sub-distribution board. Compared to cloud-based systems, our HEMS offers decisive advantages in terms of security and speed. Data from the household remains local and is therefore better protected. In addition, local systems respond more quickly to fluctuations in energy consumption and PV generation.
Tenant electricity: Sustainable energy for apartment buildings
In addition to the Leaflet HEMS, we also offer solutions for tenant electricity in collaboration with strong partners. This model enables residents of apartment buildings to benefit directly from locally generated electricity and is highly attractive to landlords. In this way, everyone contributes to the energy transition while reducing their energy costs.

Our FlexA is a software framework for analyzing, forecasting, and optimizing complex energy systems. Using self-learning AI algorithms, FlexA calculates optimized schedules for a wide variety of systems and maximizes efficiency.
