Our Michael Riebesecker then described the energy system and our work in detail. FlexA forecasts and controls the operation of the generation plants, taking into account the price on the electricity market and the energy requirements of the company. The result: energy costs are reduced, the share of renewable energy is increased, and CO2 emissions are reduced!
To give the visitors a better understanding of the company's operations, the plant manager gave them a tour of the energy center and production facilities, which was rounded off with examples of products they could touch and feel. Irlbacher's machinery ranges from laser technology and water jet cutting to machining systems developed in-house.
An exciting excursion that showed that continuously pursuing transformation and energy efficiency really works for a regional company!
